Medihotel
The 80 bed Medihotel will deliver a new range of medical and nurse led models of care. The service will involve a multidiciplinary team of health professionals with consumer and peer support. Operating 24 hours / 7 days per week, this innovative model has emerged from the WA Sustainable Health Review.
Mental Health
With a mix of 80 new public and private beds, this mental health unit will feature innovative, person centered care services better matched to patient need. It will provide psychosocial support for people experiencing mental health problems, to keep them well, and focus on their transition from acute to community services.
Aged Care
The 182 bed Aegis Health aged care facility will operate as an integral part of the Aegis Aged Care Group, the largest Approved Provider in WA with over 3000 residents at 30 Facilities. Aegis Murdoch will embrace the guiding philosophy and commitment to quality care and innovation in partnership with the Medihotel.
GP & Urgent Care
The Aegis Health Urgent Care Clinic will operate as a Centre of Excellence for meeting the urgent care needs of the Community in partnership with the public emergency departments. A new approach will be taken to assisting with the training of health professionals including GP Registrars, specialist nurses, and under-graduate students. The clinic will integrate with the Aegis Health Medihotel and Mental Health services.
