When you arrive, a friendly staff member will welcome you and guide you through the admission process. You’ll be shown around the unit, introduced to staff and other patients, and given time to settle in. Our goal is to help you feel safe and supported from the moment you arrive.
You’re welcome to bring comfortable clothes, toiletries, and items that help you feel at ease, like books or a journal. Please leave valuables at home, and check with staff if you have questions about specific items. We’ll also give you a packing list before admission.
Yes! We understand how important connection is. Visiting hours are set daily, and you’re welcome to receive visits from loved ones during those times. You can also make and receive phone calls, with staff support to ensure privacy and safety.
You will always have your own room. Your comfort is important to us, and we’ll do our best to make your space feel like your own.
Your day will include a mix of therapeutic groups, one-on-one sessions, meals, rest time, and recreational activities. We maintain a structured routine to support your wellbeing while allowing for flexibility based on your needs.
Absolutely. We believe in working together with you every step of the way. You’ll be included in creating your care plan, and we encourage your input, questions, and feedback at all times.
We offer a range of evidence-based treatments, including individual therapy, group programs, medication support, and creative or recreational activities that can be therapeutic too! Your care team will work with you to tailor a plan that best suits your goals and needs.
We welcome involvement from loved ones and caregivers—with your consent. Family meetings, education sessions, and ongoing communication help ensure your support network is included in your care journey in a way that feels right for you.
Certainly. Feeling anxious is completely normal – and we acknowledge an inpatient stay can initially feel daunting. Our care team is here to help ease those feelings and answer any questions you have. You’re not alone—we’ll support you with kindness and respect every step of the way.
Discharge planning starts early to help you feel prepared and supported. We’ll work with you to plan your next steps, whether that includes community support, outpatient care, or other services like care coordination [hyperlink]. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident, empowered and independent moving forward.
There is paid parking available under the hospital or clinic grounds. If you have parked on-site, you will need to pay the applicable fee otherwise you will be fined in accordance with local regulations. FYI – we have no ability to have fines waived and any disputes will have to be pursued with the Parking Service Provider directly. Parking map
Visiting hours are 4:30pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. We kindly ask that you do not organise visits outside of these visiting hours, unless you have specifically arranged this in advance with the Clinical Coordinator.
It varies. The cost of inpatient admission and day patient care depends on your private health insurance policy and the excess you have selected. It’s important to contact your private health fund before admission to confirm that your treatment is covered.
